*Kendall awarded Stolen 4.5 Stars!*

I met Keren through chance on my Facebook page and after we started speaking she was telling me about her book and asked if I would like to beta-read it for her! I said yes without even thinking about it as her book sounded amazing! And it totally was amazing! Be prepared to be thrown into a world of secrets, lies and love! Stolen will take you on one Hell of an adventure! It was such an amazing book that actually took me a while to beta read! I loved everything about it, but I do have one complaint! I felt that at times that I was overwhelmed with information and I had to re-read some of it to make sure that I understood it all! This is a good thing in my opinion as this book is fast-paced and you figure everything out at the same time as the characters do which is something that I loved about it! The plot of Stolen was amazing and so unique! I haven’t quite read anything like it before! I did understand it all and I was able to keep up with it! There was suspense in the plot and action and it was a big adventure! It felt like I was actually there with the characters as they were taking their journey! The plot was explained perfectly and it was a fresh take on a new idea! I just loved it! The characters were also amazing! Shanna was the main character and Stolen was told from her point of view! I really liked Shanna! I thought that she went through a lot in such a short space of time and I thought that she came through amazingly! I loved that I connected with her the whole way through the book as well! She was a character that powered on even after she had lost so much, but she also gained a lot as well! Bodhi was the love interest of Shanna and he was beyond cute! The little things he did for Shanna put a big smile on my face! I did think that he spoke quite proper and I normally don’t like characters that do this, but with Bodhi I was able to overlook it most of the time! Plus, how unique is his name?! Shanna and Bodhi were such a cute couple! They both helped each other through a tough time in their lives and together they made a kick-ass team! I adored the both of them Overall, I really enjoyed this book and I know that Keren is bringing out another book to this one in Bodhi’s point of view so I am really looking forward to reading that and I really hope that I will love it as much as I loved this one! I saw the old cover for this book and I thought that it was okay and then Keren showed me the new cover and I fell in love! It suits the book so much better than the old cover! Big thank you to Keren for letting me beta read Stolen for her!

Thank you SO much Kendall. You blew me away.Image

An Update FYI….!

Hi Guys & Girls *waves*

I just thought I would let you know what’s happening with STOLEN. It’s not yet available to put on your TBR list on Goodreads because I haven’t finished it, thus I have no ISBN number and apparently, you can’t be a Goodreads Author without an ISBN. I hope it will be up and ready soon. It’s currently going through editing and hopefully I’ll get it back soon!

I am still reading and reviewing over at Gothic Angel Book Reviews

My editor just got finished with my MS yesterday and is mailing them back to me.

Now I have to go back and do edits, and I am hoping that once I am finished, I will be able to publish the finished product.

I’ve been back and have made Shanna more emotional, as an author friend told me that she thought she didn’t show quite enough emotion. (I can’t tell you why she should be emotional but I am trying to strike the right balance between emotional and suffering from PTSD – again, that’s something you’ll have to find out why!)

I hope you guys will stick with me during my journey from writer to self-published author. I have made a lot of new friends along the way and am grateful for each and every one. For the people that either follow this blog. For the people that ‘like’ my Facebook page, I want to say a massive THANK YOU! Each and every new member is appreciated and loved. If you want to find my Facebook page for Stolen, here is a link

I cannot wait to see if and when you guys read and love (hopefully) my book.

It has been an amazing journey since turning on my laptop that fateful day in October and writing ‘Chapter One’ – I can’t put into words how my writing happens, it just does. I thought I’d need to do more planning than I have, but somehow it just comes to me and I type. I guess I’ve been flying by the seat of my pants.

Anyway, thank you for being here. I hope to see you bring many friends along for the ride. I hope you like my cover too.

Catch y’all later!

So I Finally Bit The Bullet And Created An Author Blog

I guess I’ve been hiding in my writing cave a little too long and so I thought it was time to bite the bullet and create an author blog so that you guys have a place to come visit me and keep up-to-date with what’s happening with my first book, Stolen

I’m at the point now where I’m waiting for it to come back from editing.

I haven’t really planned much of the book except the original concept and character descriptions. I had an initial plan but then when I came to write it up, I realised there wasn’t enough communication between characters. In fact I don’t think there was really any dialogue, it was just a description of what I wanted to happen planned out in a notebook.

So I scrapped that and started again. I opened a Word document, wrote the title and then the book just started flowing from my fingertips. I had a rough outline of what I wanted to happen but not when or how. So I was really just flying by the seat of my pants. I’m the type of person who usually has To-Do lists and am usually very structured; it’s just this book seems to have me throwing caution to the wind.

This is a YA Paranormal Romance. There will be 2 books, 1 entitled Stolen and 1 entitled Freed. The series is entitled Freedom of Souls.

Then after they are written, I plan to write Contemporary Romances. I have a few thoughts in my head for them. They’ve been inspired by my favourite band, Lady antebellum. Their albums have been the most listened to whilst I have been writing Stolen.

I was sitting listening to their album the other day and when ‘If I Knew Then’ came on, I thought what a beautiful song it was and how I would love to try and fit a book around the theme of it.

If you don’t know this song, you really should listen to it.

If you want to know more about me or my books, you can always contact me. I am always pleased to hear from fans; authors, bloggers, readers alike.
